i had the privilege of taking a hand wrought jewelery and metal sculpture course at central connecticut state university with artist daniel riccio back in 2002. take a moment and click that link, his work is truly amazing! today i accessed dan's site to view his recent works and was surprised to find a piece i created showcased under "student works". the "frankenstein box" was made to look like flesh stitched together. i know, it's really odd and creepy, but so is the story of franksenstein. there was also a little "silence of the lambs" influence in there too. hello clarice.
