so i was up and out the door at 6:15 am this morning to finish my christmas shopping. let me tell you, procrastination chills to the bone! it was 5 degrees and windy as i pulled out of the driveway. i have no idea what the wind chill was, but i'm guessing somewhere around arctic! after i got feeling in my hands and feet...which was about 20 minutes into shopping...my bitterness melted away! as much as i hate the materialistic side of christmas i had to grab some gifts for family and t. now the fun part, wrapping the gifts! anybody interested in taking on the tast for me? :)
t and i are off to rhode island tonight to spend some time with her folks, then we'll make the mad dash back to connectciut to my folks on christmas morning. woo hoo, gotta' love the holiday travel madness! this year should be fun, getting to see t's folks and my folks and family all in a 24 hour time span. to top the holiday off, my mom bought a tofurky for me to chow on christmas day! santa can have all the cookies and milk he wants but he's not getting any of my tofurky!!!
