so 3 days of hyping up the 1st major storm of the season have finally come to a head, winter storm austin is upon us. the commute home from work, typically 17 minutes, was 47 minutes as the snow began to fall. i made a quick pit stop at eli's to grab t's take-out lunch and made my way home. the good old weather man says 8-12" of snow from now until tomorrow at around 9am. woo hoo! as soon as i'm done typing i'm waxing up the skis and sled and getting ready for a bitchin' winter weekend!

update: 7pm5 hours since i got home from work and we're buried under about 6 inches of snow. t and i went out to clear off our cars, get a jump on the shoveling, and play in the snow. i posted some photos
