: 1st weekend in August

so this weekend was chock full of stuff just like the past few have been! friday night we had people over the east haddam house, 122 as we call it, for some grilling and chilling by the campfire. typical summer time friday night...lots of food and drink and BSing around the fire with friends. saturday was pretty uneventful thanks to the thunderstorms that rolled through. t and i headed out late in the afternoon and walked around chattfield hollow and then hung out by the connecticut river down in deep river enjoying some moravella's pizza. sunday brought on lots of laboring. spence met us out at 122 and we started building the new fronts steps. while spence and i were cranking out the steps t was taking care of some molding in the front hallway. after hours of working on the steps, spence headed home for dinner and t and i attacked the final project of the day...digging a trench and burying some drainage piping. not fun at all after a long day of cooking in the sun building those steps. needless to say, we got all the tasks done and were back at the portland house by 8ish. what a long day! a huge thanks to spence for busting his a$$ for 7 hours helping us beautify 122. thanks! so its monday morning, my back hurts, i'm tired, and i'm back at the office. same sh!t, different week!
