: palmer cross

so t and i left the house at 6 am to head to palmer, mass. for my cross race and it was 24 degrees out! when the gun went off at 9 am it was 32 degrees and i knew i was in store for some suffering! the course was the nastiest i've raced yet! 80% of it was in the woods, it was rooty and rocky, 2 barrier sections, and there were 3 run-ups...1 that was 100 yards of straight up hell! (see below) despite all my bitching i did well placing 5th out of 38 riders. this was the first race i've attended this year without ghostship matt and it just wasn't the same without the sinking ship terrorizing people on the course with me! we missed you "troy" ;) head over to my photos page and check out the shots t took. i created a new set.

thanks to dean at pedal power for being my personal mechanic and prepping my bike the day before each race. 3 more to go buddy!
