: 9/11

today is the 8th anniversary of the dreadful 9/11 attacks. i get chills thinking back...i was sitting in an intro to design class at central connecticut state university and our professor came in crying her eyes out, she told us the world trade centers were just attacked. the entire campus was dismissed and closed for the remainder of the day. i turned on howard stern when i got in the car and for the first time ever the well know foul mouthed disc jockey was in awe can could barely speak on the air. i went over my grandmothers house and watched the world trade centers burn and literally crumble to the ground live on cnn. our minds were racing hoping my uncle, who lives in manhatten, was ok. that was a tragic day in history, one we'll never forget. my thoughts are with those who lost loved ones and friends that day!
