: the king of pop is gone!

wow, michael jackson is gone! i feel like i lost a part of my childhood. my cousin and i listened to the "thriller" cassette so many times as kids the thing stopped working...one of the first videos i saw on mtv was "beat it" and still to this day i love it....my thumbs had blisters on them in grade school from playing michael jackson's mookwalker for endless hours on sega genesis. i have most of mj's albums on vinyl and i'm so tempted to put them on ebay, but i can't sell out like that. whether you liked his music or not, you have to recognize that a true musical icon is gone. long live the king of pop!
