t and is spent saturday night and all day yesterday out at 122. yesterday consisted of a lot of yardwork and trails work. lawn mowing, weed wacking, stone wall building, soil spreading, grass seeding, wood cutting, etc. i must admit, t really impressed me by fixing our broken lawnmower. i made an effort last week to figure out what was wrong with the mower with no luck. ms. mechanic pulled out my bike tool box and went to town taking apart the mowing deck and finding the source of the problem. nice!
the birds in the nest on the porch are huge and will be flying the coup soon. it has been truly amazing to watch these birds grow over the past 2 weeks! i crossed paths with a pretty big eastern garter snake in the trails. ah i hate snakes, but i was pretty fascinated by him so i snapped some photos. gotta love wildlife in your own back yard!
