there is a cave/shelter hidden away in the rocky cliffs at hurd park that t and i noticed some time ago. yesterday we packed a head lamp, some cameras, and headed up into the hillside in hopes of finding a deep cave or something exciting. the shelter is just an alcove under the cliffs that someone built around with rocks...nothing special but kinda eerie. there is a dirt bed made inside the shelter, something straight out of "man vs. wild" or "survivorman".
