: dog days of spring?

wow, i've heard of the "dog days of summer", but "dog days of spring"? it has been over 90 degrees for the past 2 days and i can't help but want to spend the day outdoors having fun! t and i took karli over to salmon river to swim and play yesterday afternoon and i jumped right in with her...well knee deep at least. i'm sure this was the first of many river trips with the pup.
