: mass. travel

sunday was super fun!! t and i woke up at the crack of dawn and headed east to winthrop, mass. to spend the day with some of her family. we stuffed our faces at nick's place as soon as we arrived in winthrop, a must on any trip there! i adventured out onto deer island for the afternoon shooting photos and then made my way out onto the breakers off of wintrop to snap a few surf shots. the main reason we were up in the boston area was to pick up shawn at logan. hebrank is doing a guest spot up in east hampton, mass. at off the map tattoo this week. stop by and say high to shawn. after fetching shawn from the airport we stopped at grasshopper for some amazing vegan chinese food and then headed due west toward northhampton. i don't know, hebrank always claims he listens to only folk punk and against me, but he was rocking out to "beat it" and "i wear my sunglasses at night" as we trucked it across the state. it was great to see shawn and i'm hoping to head up to northampton to visit one day this week.
