: season ended!

my cyclocross season was just flushed down the tubes and i'm so distraught! i just got back from a doc visit and i have a pulled right quadricep and iliotibial band syndrome. basically my right leg is worthless from the knee up! i'll be cramming in some physical therapy sessions in the next week before we leave to ireland in hopes that some ultrasound and massage at least take away my limp. i was told no more racing till 2009 and stay off the bike till i'm back from ireland. i don't want to jinx myself cause the year isn't over yet, but man, the last half of 2008 has torn my body apart. my crash in august, the stomach bug in october, a nasty cold to start november, and now this. can somebody please let me know where i can buy a bubble to live in!
