: ideal autumn day

after putting in 42 miles on the bike in the early morning, i showered up and t and i headed out for the day. we stopped at the east haddam house to do a studio shoot of some of t's artwork. in the next few months t has a few show openings...i'll post more info on here in the very near future. after photos we headed down to deep river and ultimately essex for the afternoon. we grabbed lunch at olive oil's, a great local deli/market, and had a picnic on a blanket along the connecticut river. yummy food, brisk autumn air, plentiful sunshine, great sights and sounds along the river...what an ideal autumn day! as usual, my camera was in tow. check out the photos i shot here.
