the plan was to do nothing productive this weekend, just relax and have fun. friday night we had a kick a$$ fire at 122 and a dozen people came out to play. we had the usual drinks, junk food, and dogs, veggie treats, and corn over the hot coals...yum! the end of the night was pretty fun. we had a guest fall asleep in her chair beside the fire and austin powers and elf made a guest appearance :) thanks to everyone that came out and had fun! so friday night was super fun, but saturday was outright lousy! t is notorious for having allergic reactions and late friday she had some small hives breaking out on her arms. when we woke saturday morning t was a mess. the right side of her face was huge, her eye was swollen shut, and the reaction was taking over her body. we went to the middlesex hospital emergency room and spent 3.5 hours getting t taken care of. no fun, but i'm glad she is on medicine now and the rash is beginning to fade. i was so nervous, it was a pretty scary experience to watch someone have a reaction and get completely overtaken by hives like that. i wouldn't wish that upon anyone! so, there are still 1.5 days left to this 3 day weekend and i'm sure some more fun stuff will be had and documented on film. only time will tell...
weekend photos as of saturday at 4pmupdate: september 2nd -so that last day and a half of the weekend consisted of mostly vegging out. t was still feeling under the weather so we really didn't get out much. i played with acrylics sunday night and monday and created 2 rad new canvas', screened some TYRANT bandannas, we took a ride to whole foods, and watched literally 4 hours of the "unwrapped" marthon on the food network. awesome! rest and relaxation!
