: west coast wildman

so my childhood buddy mike is the next "crocodile hunter" steve irwin, except he deals with animals native to the united states. mike is a wilderness buff and he's been off adventuring in the backwoods of the country since he graduated college. mike worked and lived a yosemite park, tracked mountain lions in the california desert for a research project, and now he's living the island life. mike just wrote to inform me he'll be living on san clemente island out in the pacific for a little over a month tracking and trapping island foxes for another research project. pretty insane, i'm waiting to see mike on animal planet!
