: weekend travels

wow! this weekend was a busy one. friday i got out of work at 6, rode 34 miles before dark, went to dinner with t at its only natural, and watched the evening tour de france coverage. t and i woke up early saturday, drove to rhode island for her nephew's christening, went to lunch in bristol, ri with her t's family, drove back to ct late, stopped at the east haddam house to grab some beach items, had a guiness on the patio, and headed back to my place. sunday we woke up early and packed for a day down at the shore, i rode to the guilford cottage via a 46 miles route and t drove down in my car, we hung out at the shore all day celebrating my cousin's engagement and my aunts 50th b-day, drove home around 8, watched the tour coverage and fell asleep while doing so. what a kick a$$ weekend! and next weekend looks to be just as rad...3 days up in boston! now it is monday morning...i'm sore, tired, sunburnt, and not looking forward to a long workday...why can't everyday be a saturday or sunday?
