: boston bedlam

wow this weekend was fun! t and i headed up to her brother's place just outside of boston for a 3 day weekend of madness. friday night we headed to the paradise rock bar to see a couple bands play. t's brother and sister in-law are big fans of the virginia coaltion, one of the bands that played, so we ended up chatting with a few band members after the show. after paradise we headed to "t's" (a bar by boston university), ate late night pizza, and took a $30 cab ride back home at 2 am. saturday was fun, we woke up late, watched the tour de france in the morning, rode some bmx at the winthrop skatepark, walked the beach for an hour or so, and prepared for a crazy night out in boston. t's brother just turned 40 and a mob of friend's and family were meeting at lucky's lunge in boston to celebrate. let me tell you, t's family doesn't mess around, they know how to have one hell of a time! we were at lucky's for 6+ hours and i'm sure our party made the bar well over $1,000. nuts! needless to say, sunday morning was slow and sluggish! we gorged on take-out for lunch, watched mind-numbing TV, napped, then t and i battled our way back to connecticut through torrential rains and thunderstorms late in the day. we were in bed by 8 last night...so tired...so whooped! until next time...
